How to use sourcing and reach out to candidates

When the event is live the chat opens up. That means that candidates can reach out to you but also that you can reach out to them. So instead of just waiting for incoming chats, be proactive and go find your candidates!

Take a look at the video below that explains the "Online talent" tab and how you reach out to interesting candidates:

In short, you can actively source candidates. Find a full list of the event participants, narrow down the search via filters, check out their profiles and reach out to the best candidates!

Find and reach out to candidates in 3 easy steps

  1. Add different filters to find candidates matching your target group or use the search bar.If you want to search for a specific candidate, make sure to insert “AND” between their first name and last name (e.g. “Alan AND Smith”).
  2. Click on the candidate's name to get an overview of their profile
  3. If the candidate looks interesting, go ahead and start a conversation with them!

Note: You can contact candidates that are online (= chat) and offline (= send message). Offline candidates will be notified about your message via email. If there is already an ongoing conversation between your company and the candidate it will show as "See chat". This way you can keep track of who you and your colleagues are already in touch with!

Additional information for hybrid events

When participating in a hybrid event, candidates can select if they are participating "online from another location", "In person", or "A bit of both"

In the "Sourcing"-Tab under the column "Engagement", you can see where you can meet each candidate registered.

Remember that you can also contact candidates that are participating in the physical event location during the event hours. The candidate will then receive an email with your message and can get back to you, also after the event.
